Summer Reading Programs

Need something to do this summer? You should sign up for a summer reading program at your local library!

Summer reading programs are basically where you read and log what books you’ve read, how much time you spent reading them this summer, you can write reviews on books you read, you can get rewards for reading (such as coupons and raffle tickets), and you can earn online badges in some programs.

This is my 2nd year doing it, and different counties do different things. Last year I signed up for 2 programs in different counties, and this year I’m only doing 1 program, the one I like better. The problem is, I’m starting to forget to log my reading minutes, and I only logged about 5 hours so far!

It’s really fun. You should sign up for your local summer reading program today! Yay!!! Whoo-hoo!

Goodbye for this exact moment,

Christina

*this post is REALLY late. I signed up for summer reading the day that it started, June 1st. It ends sometime in August at most libraries
